Core: What A2A Actually Means for Crypto

Watch for the first agent-to-agent payment that settles on a blockchain. Watch for a decentralized identity system that is compatible with A2A's Agent Card specification. Watch for a crypto project that integrates A2A not as a marketing feature, but as a deep technical commitment—with open-source code, audit reports, and a clear value capture mechanism.

Until then, the ghost in the interoperability protocol is still learning to talk. When it does, it won't be through a single standard. It will be through a network of standards, protocols, and incentives that we are only beginning to design.

Code is law, but narrative is leverage. And leverage, as we learned in 2022, cuts both ways.
